John Lambert’s Gasoline-Powered Automobile (9/21/12)

Did you know on this day in 1891, John Lambert invented America’s first gasoline powered automobile. The vehicle was a three-wheeled motorized buggy. Even though the buggy made history, it wasn’t a big success as cars go. He dropped the idea of a car and worked on gasoline engines. If you copy and paste the following link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckeye_gasoline_buggy, you will find a picture of the car.
